Natural Bridge Caverns were carved by a channel of the Indian River. The property is commercially owned. Visitors are taken through the cavern by rowboat. At one point in the cavern, part of the roof has collapsed, resulting in the bridge. Hours July to Labor Day: daily 9-7 Jun and Oct: dates depend on water level. Fees Adults: $5 (note: this fee may be out of date)

From Interstate 81 in New York: Exit at Watertown NY onto NY Route 3. Take route 3 (Arsenal St) east through Watertown until it meets NY route 12. At the intersection, turn left onto Eastern Blvd. to follow route 3. Continue on route 3 for about 12 miles. Turn left at Route 3A (County route 36). Follow route 3A for 5 miles until it rejoins route 3. Turn left onto route 3 and go another 5 miles to Natural Bridge. Turn left onto Lime st. Natural Bridge Caverns is on Lime st. From Tupper Lake NY Head North on NYS route 3 for 71 miles to Natural Bridge. Turn right onto Lime St. From Lake Placid NY Head west from Lake Placid toward Saranac Lake on route 86. In Saranac Lake, turn left on route 3 (River St.) Follow route 3 North for approximately 18 miles, to Tupper Lake Continue on route 3 for 71 miles to Natural Bridge In Natural Bridge, turn right onto Lime St.
