The indoor Reading Terminal Market has been a centerpiece in downtown Philadelphia since 1892. Prior to moving indoors, this location has been home to a market continuously since 1653. The market is located underneath what was once the center city terminus of the Reading Railroad. The great train shed above the market is now part of the Philadelphia Convention Center.
The market is home to approximately one hundred merchants selling Pennsylvania dutch baked goods, seafood, meats, crafts, books, specialty foods, flowers and plants, and more.
Parking is available in the nearby 12th and Filbert St. garage for $3 for 2 hours with a validated parking ticket. Any market vendor can validate your ticket.
